Southlake Carroll (13-1) destroyed Trophy Club Byron Nelson (13-1) 56-7 in the Class 6A Division II Region I finals, avenging its district loss and advancing to the state semifinals for the first time since 2021. It came out strong from the opening kickoff, led 42-0 at halftime and was a force in all three phases.
