Martin finished the 2022 season with 878 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, finishing second on the Guyer roster behind Landon Sides. Martin then improved on those numbers in 2023, catching 66 passes for 1,047 yards and 12 scores.
2022: Primarily played left tackle as a junior. Helped Guyer to the Texas 6A D-II state semifinal round.
2021: Made the move from the defensive line to offense as a sophomore; Started at left tackle and helped Guyer reach the Class 6A-Division II state title game.

Jackson Arnold was thrust into the spotlight at Denton (Texas) Guyer during the state championship game of his freshman season when starter Eli Stowers was knocked out of the game with a knee injury. Guyer was shut out in that game. But Arnold used the game as motivation to develop into one of the top quarterbacks in the country. Arnold led Guyer to the 2021 state title game with 3,931 yards passing and 34 touchdowns.
